"Super short stay in a beautiful part of the country"

10.0

Very friendly welcome and helpfully swapped our room straight away as the hot tap on the bath was too stiff for us. Exceptional food - very generous breakfast, my husband said it was the best full English breakfast he had ever had ( of many!) and evening meals in the congenial, warm pub were imaginative and delicious with a great choice of beers. Comfortable bed and everything very clean and quiet. The perfect combination of traditional pub with seperate modern annexe for bedrooms. Lovely views too.

A very minor point - no socket for the hairdryer near a mirror. I suggested an extension lead as we left but I'm sure if I had asked earlier the very helpful staff would have found one.

"Warmest of welcomes in a beautiful Cotswold corner"

9.0

We were made to feel very welcome. The rooms are fresh and clean, location is lovely and the breakfast was excellent. The pub is charming, cosy and perfect for an evening in good company in front of a log fire.

The pillow was slightly lumpy-it's the only fault I can find in an otherwise super stay.

"Comfortable sleep"

8.0

Spacious room and comfortable beds. Staffs are great.

Economy system of the shower. It is a great idea of saving important resource but it stopped in the middle of shower and when you turn it back on , it gives a cold water for first and the hot water comes out before it stops again. The time varies .

The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable and also it was a ground floor room which was handy as I had my dog with me. The pub itself was cosy and welcoming with a blazing log fire. The food and beer were also excellent. Parking was very convenient.

That I could stay longer!!

Stunning rural location, friendly helpful staff, snug traditional pub with three open fires and top notch beer and great food. Could have stayed forever.

Didn't stay long enough!

"Beautiful location, nice staff, room was cosy and clean."

10.0

The location, the style, the room… everything

If I really have to be picky I would say there were big potholes on the small road on the main entrance.
