The Mill Inn

Good food. Good beer.

Our twin bedroom was quite dated. Worn wallpaper. Loose shelves. Quite dirty. Our ensuite shower was small.

The whole experience was fantastic and everyone was extremely friendly . We ate at the Mill Inn and the food was delicious

We stopped at Mill Inn en route to Fort William. The inn is in a beautiful village; the scenery is lovely. Our rooms were clean and comfortable. There was plenty of tea, coffee and biscuit supplies in the rooms. We had our evening meal there and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff team was relaxed and friendly. Our dogs were truly welcomed which means a lot to us and was key in our choice to stay there. We had a full English breakfast the following morning which set us up for the day. We would definitely stay there again.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Hosts were very friendly. Food was excellent, both evening meal and breakfast. Large choice for evening meals. Lovely and cosy in bar and restaurant area. Very clean in this area.

The room small, shower very tiny, had to leave the door open, no room to move. Could do with a clean down the side of the bed and skirting board by shower was a bit dirty.

location was lovely, made to feel very welcome. Food was of a high standard.

Our stay at The Mill Inn was an absolute delight. Nestled in a tranquil setting, the inn exuded charm and warmth from the moment we arrived. The crackling real log fire in the lounge created a cosy, inviting atmosphere that instantly made us feel at home. We phoned ahead as we were running late, and the staff couldn’t have been more accommodating they ensured our dinner reservation was secured, which was a huge relief after a long journey. The food was beautifully presented and full of flavour, clearly prepared with care and attention. From the moment we stepped through the door, we were greeted with genuine hospitality. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the landlord personally welcomed us, taking the time to show us to our room and make sure we had everything we needed. It’s rare to find such thoughtful service these days. The Mill Inn offered not just a place to stay but a truly memorable experience. We left feeling relaxed, well-fed, and thoroughly looked after.
