Woolpack Inn by Greene King Inns

Staff were very friendly, welcoming and attentive.

There was nothing qrong with the stay. The biggest compliment i can give is my daughter ate everything she got, and she is a very fussy eater

Great for a short stay, rooms are adequate, good value for money, pub offers good food and drinks, staff all lovely.

A bit tired in places

I was not able to stay at this location as booking.com were unwilling to allow me to change the booking - despite the hotel being willing to explore possibilities.

Friendly staff, good breakfast

The bed was extremely uncomfortable, the mattress was not fit for purpose causing both my husband and I to have hardly any sleep !

All staff were very welcoming and friendly. It was set in a lovely location with plenty of on street parking available should the car park be full.

Unfortunately our stay coincided with a heatwave and our room was in the rafters so it was extraordinarily hot, with little means of cooling down. The bathroom floor was incredibly squeaky/creaky and it was quite a feat to take a shower under the eaves, but just about manageable. Anyone taller or less flexible would struggle. Service was pretty slow at breakfast which was touch and go when we needed to meet with a taxi. However, service was always very pleasant.

The Greene King pub didn't have any IPA or Abbot on draft.

The staff were very friendly and helpful

The bathroom was tired with, for example, tiles half off the wall and no grab rails to help in and out of the bath.
