Really close to the station and Main Street. Beds were very comfortable. Initially I was worried about no A/C but the fan worked really well. The family are very helpful and even offer tuk tuk rides if you need it.

Fridge in the room didn’t work but wasn’t a massive drama

Location was great. It’s a 4 minute walk from the train station and a 5-10 minute walk to the heart of Ella. It’s a quiet area which was peaceful and very enjoyable. The breakfast was one of the best meals we’ve had. The owner was very generous and gave us a delicious Sri Lankan breakfast (which we requested)! Also, we ate our breakfast outside the room in a private space which was also very enjoyable.

The property was perfectly suited to what we were looking for. We only stayed for one night and spent most of the day exploring Ella. Something that didn’t affect us but may be considered is AC. The room does come with a fan which is enough because Ella is quite cool at night.

Limpieza y desayuno muy buenos. La persona que lleva este alojamiento es muy amable e intenta ayudarte en todo. Cerca de la estación pero no para ir andando si vas con maletas, ya que hay bastante cuesta.

Tiene muchas escaleras para subir con las maletas. No tiene cortinas opacas. A las 5 estás despierto porque te da el sol de cara. Muchísimo ruido fuera de gente pasando por delante de la puerta o hablando. Es un sitio básico sin aire acondicionado ni piscina, con un precio alto comparándolo con otros lugares de Sri lanka en los que he estado.

Gastgeber war super freundlich, hat jns sogar angeschrieben und auf uns gewartet, weil wir so spät angekommen sind. Das Frühstück war umfangreich und sehr lecker. Auch hat er uns ein paar gute Tips bezüglich Zugzeiten gegeben. Danke

Wir hatten tolle Zimmer – sauber, gepflegt und mit komfortablen Betten.

Die Begrüßung war etwas zurückhaltend – weder Hilfe beim Gepäck noch ein Welcome Drink, insgesamt eher distanziert.
