It was a very good hotel and the pub side of it was great. My only issue was that the beds were a little hard, and in one of the rooms we stayed in, the heating couldn’t be turned off.

The property was ideally located for the ultra cycling event that we were participating in. The hosts were very welcoming given our arrival time was close to midnight, way past the 22:30 checking in time!

Nice friendly staff, who welcomed us even though we arrived at a busy time. Rooms were spotlessly clean and comfortable, with everything we needed. There was a good range of meals in the restaurant, so we decided to eat there and it was lovely.

Good location, friendly welcoming staff where nothing is too much trouble, very tasty food, great night sleep, rounded off by a delicious breakfast. Could not ask for a better stay, highly recommended.
