Beautiful peaceful North York Moors location, great hospitality & lovely evening meal.

Room was somewhat dated (but ok for a night's stay) breakfast was good albeit a little modest, could have done with a few more choices & extras.

A really nice pub with great staff. Breakfast was freshly cooked and very well done with decent ingredients. Evening meals are also available and equally well cooked. The location of this pub is great as well being a couple of minutes walk from the station. I would definitely stay here again.

A charming little hotel in a beautiful location. Highly comfortable with lovely staff and excellent food. Great value for money. Very cosy rooms kitted out with every convenience including hot water bottles, and very quiet at night. Reasonably priced dinner and breakfast included.

The pub is comfortable and cosy and the rooms very spacious with great views. Food was good and the staff were extremely welcoming and friendly

No dedicated parking area, though not too far to a convenient lay-bye.

Staff were very welcoming and friendly. I was shown to my room and asked if I required a table for dinner which was really thoughtful as it was very busy. The food was great and the bed was comfy.

I would have preferred a room with a window but as I was only staying one night, it didn't really matter. Plus, I was expecting a single bed but got a double! The room was a little cold despite the radiator set on max (particularly the bathroom which didn't have any heating) but blankets and hot water bottles were provided!
