It was a bit noisy in the morning (gulls and vehicles). The hotel did supply earplugs though

"Friendly welcoming staff, beautiful rooms, great restaurants."

The location was fantastic. So much to see and do. The decor, layout was beautiful. The restaurant staff were lovely. The food was affordable and to a great standard. The second time I have been here and still it’s one of my most favourite places.

Everything was fabulous.

"Very comfortable hotel"

Excellent comfy hotel, lovely breakfast and well equipped room with coffee etc

Nothing to note, parking is a 10 minute walk away, but we knew that when we booked.....however sideways rain wasn't part of the deal!

"Really enjoyed my short visit for work - would love to come back for leisure with the family."

Visiting on business, I had room 5 which is a cosy space in the roof eaves. Beautifully decorated and very well appointed (coffee machine, kettle, iron). The wifi was good throughout the hotel at 24Mbps download. Staff made me very welcome and accommodated my need for a self-service early breakfast.

Beds were softer than I like. Fixtures in the room and bathroom were in need of light maintenance (loose / falling tiles). The access to the room was tricky if you have heavy bags or mobility issues - up several flights of stairs and narrow corridors.

"FALSELY ADVERTISED- Would never stay again."

View of a wall from the ‘king room with a view of the quay and estuary’, neither did it have the advertised king-size bed. We haven’t so much as had an apology from the property , let a long a refund of the price difference between the room we paid for and the one we got. The property has taken our money and are ignoring the problem. Do not book if you want to see the view advertised!

"Great location, room, staff, breakfast"

Room was lovely, tea facilities great, nice space, lovely staff. Breakfast is lovely, freshly cooked to order with a great view of the estuary.

No blind in the bathroom which was a bit unnerving as the window was above the steps people use to enter the building. Loved fresh berries at breakfast but would have been nice to have yoghurt to go with it. But these are just minor issues, the place is lovely and I have stayed before and will stay again
