Rumah Sidemen

Sidemen is so peaceful, and different from the built-up tourism areas. We enjoyed our 2 night's stay at this hotel. The rooms were big, clean and comfortable. The breakfast that was included was simple but delicious. The rooms do not have a fridge, but we were able to put some drinks and snacks in the fridge in the dining area. The family/staff who are running this homestay were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Our rooms had a large area at the front to sit and relax and enjoy the view of the garden, the sounds of nature, birds and running water it was lovely.

The bathroom was dark and the pebbled floor attracts mosquitoes. The entrance to the homestay is down a narrow laneway that cars cannot access. Staff carried our bags from the street, where we parked the car, down to the homestay so it's not really anything to complain about. The position of the homestay is on a slope so there are some steps to get down to some of the rooms, which could be an issue for people with mobility issues.

Als je door een klein steegje naar boven loopt verwacht je daar niet wat je aantreft: een paar prachtige ruime kamers met hemelbedden, je ogen vallen nog eens open als je de badkamer ziet. Vriendelijk personeel die alles voor je regelen zoals scooters hren of een taxi bestellen. Het ontbijt is eenvoudig maar goed.

Zelo prijazno osebje, nastanitev je blizu odličnih restavracij in strežejo tudi odličen zajtrk. Prav tako pa si lahko po zelo ugodni ceni izposodite skuter.

- Le personnel était adorable et toujours aux petits soins - Le petit déjeuner était simple mais bon (choix entre pancake ou oeufs, café ou thé et fruits ou jus de fruit) - Emplacement idéal: calme mais tout de même proche de warungs et autres restaurants - Possibilité de louer un scooter sur place à un prix raisonnable

Rien à redire, c’était parfait ! Merci encore. Petit mot pour les touristes: Allez-y les yeux fermés et privilégiez les familles locales comme celle-ci plutôt que les grands resorts coûteux et luxueux, souvent déconnectés de l’authenticité et du paysage de la région.

Le personnel était vraiment adorable. L’hôtel est plutôt bien placé, on peut faire pas mal de chose à pieds !

J’ai moins apprécié le fait qu’il n’y ait pas de clim dans la chambre et que le toit ne soit pas complètement fermé car je me suis fait beaucoup piqué par les moustiques.

The space was quiet, spacious and clean. Folks were kind and helpful. I wish that I could have spent more time there. They helped me get a driver for my trip down to Kuta.

Pas de climatisation dans la chambre

Die Unterkunft war sehr schön und ist sehr ruhig gelegen. Sie lag in einem wunderschönen Garten. Die Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Bananen-Pancakes die man zum Frühstück bekommen kann sind sehr zu empfehlen :-). Nicht weit von der Unterkunft entfernt ist ein kleines Restaurant (Warung Ayun) wo man die indonesische Küche genießen kann. Insgesamt hatten wir eine sehr schöne Zeit in Sidemen. Die Unterkunft würden wir jederzeit wieder buchen. Vielen Dank an unsere Gastgeberin.
