Staff lovely, great location comfortable room and bed.

The barmaid was extremely friendly and very attentive and helpful. Great banter with her and the locals. Room was comfy and clean. Would stay again

As someone who is concerned about energy waste, I hated how they leave lights on everywhere, day and night. The toilet doesn't even have an on/off light switch! And what is the point of the huge fish tank with no fish in it? It gurgles away day and night very noisily - it could even be heard from my room upstairs. Perhaps it's to pop lobsters into? And why does the owner use the parking places (even the disabled parking) for his rusty old cars rather than for customers? Okay, there is parking across the road at the leisure centre, but as a blue badge holder I was annoyed when I had to park further up the street, and struggle in the high winds to get to the door.
