Fantastic location, great breakfast and all of the staff brilliant. Room was good and the it is a very peaceful and relaxing place to stay.

The location is wonderful and the food was very good

Whilst the room was clean & comfortable the bathroom was very small and with a folding door not a lot of privacy

"Disappointing."

The only thing it’s got going for it is the location.

The bedrooms are dusty and extremely outdated but not traditional. The staff aren’t helpful and friendly not very welcoming. It’s extremely expensive for a bed and break for what you get. The breakfast is very disappointing and some mornings was quite inedible.

"For a break in stunning countryside and a stay in a village you want to choose the Goathland hotel."

My wife and I loved the location and hotel. The staff are polite and helpful. The food is very good and the breakfast just what is needed after an evening in the bar.

We enjoyed everything, there wasn’t anything we didn’t like.
