"Back to basics relax and breath the fresh air"

What a hidden gem. So quiet, private a lovely place to relax. Many many warungs near by. Switch off with a great book and sleep the days away. Staff are amazing and very helpful

The accommodation is unique and we really enjoyed our stay here. Sideman is a very very quiet area, but the location was great to be able to walk to a few warungs, cafes and some lovely silver making workshops. The owner arranged for a local guide to take us on a walk through the rice paddies and helped arrange our onward travel.

Nothing really, it’s a very basic homestay, but has everything you need

I stayed in both the 2 bedroom villa downstairs & the 1 bedroom upstairs villa. Both so clean & lots of thoughtful extras included. Wonderful staff, so friendly & helpful, lovely breakfast. The upstairs villa has 2 verandahs & a fabulous mountain view (if not cloudy). The other villa is bigger but no view & not as light & bright. You can also rent a scooter or a driver from here. Many little warungs & restaurants within walking distance. Look forward to staying here agn nxt year.

We loved the view on the volcano from the breakfast table. We also really enjoyed the rice field walk organized by the hotel.

The pictures on booking are taken at a very advantageous angle and though the place is quite nice it feels a little disappointing compared to the pictures. We were in the villa in front of the pool and it is a bit rustic and feels somewhat enclosed as there is no view from the villa (only from the breakfast room and the top of the pool). The breakfast is also very simple and could offer a few more options.
