The location was wonderful and the staff were really nice. We visited as a family and the room was comfy and safe. It had a small fridge, kettle, two towels for each of us.

The wifi was not great and when we tried to watch the t.v. it was not connected to wifi so we could not watch it. We didn't bother asking for help because it was late and it was not essential. I am sure they would have helped. Also, the walls are somewhat thin so we heard the people's radio next door. It was to be expected - this is an old building, but in case anyone super fussy about sound wants to stay here, don't.

I really enjoyed the small town charm. The location was perfect and had a cute garden behind the pub. The staff were so accommodating and helpful. All round perfect little small town hotel. Bonus points for the bathroom having a bath!

Room was a little dated, albeit well maintained. The room was generally clean, but there was dust in the radiator and on top of the wardrobe. There was a very useful fridge in the room, but it was extremely noisy.

Non-availability of car parking

Very friendly staff. Clean and comfortable. Quiet for sleeping. Good biscuits! Exit via steep stone steps could have been a problem but a helpful member of staff appeared and carried my bag
