Bear Country Inn

We really enjoyed talking with the host and the other guests. There were gathering places where people could meet and chat. The hotel was cozy warm--a real plus in Churchill!

That we had a room.

Breakfast was poor...we went to local store and purchased fresh fruit, cereal, and milk and made our own. Rooms were dark and shabby.

The location was perfect...just a couple of minutes from the Train Station and across the street from restaurants and shops. The breakfast was perfect...continental or cook to order. The staff was always helpful to answer questions and give suggestions....We were picked up at the train station and given a cheery tour of the town so that gave us a lay of the land and where we wanted to visit.

After researching where to stay, the Churchill exceeded my expectations. The only minus was caused by Mother Nature and the icy walking conditions...We just returned and the town was closing down which left a couple of restaurants closed.

Not a lot to like about this place! the heating was switch off after the first night !was told that we had to rush the so called breakfast was not as described ! And we were told to go out As Soon As we Finnish it !!

Every Thing !!! Read Above !!! and our room was not cleaned and we had to ask for clean towels and toilet rolls !!!!!!

Perfect location for those who likes to be on foot. Short walk to the railway station, across the road from the stores, a bolck or two away from restaurants, few steps from tour operators. Complementary transfer to and from the airport and railway station, OK breakfast. Staff accomodating request to a very reasionable extent.

Aging property, very thin walls, could use a refit.

The owner was very friendly and helpful in all our trips Even has car rentals on site at a good price
