Santa Filomena

The location is excellent, right in the heart of Santiago and within easy walking distance of the Cathedral and the historic center. What truly made our stay special was the kindness and hospitality of the owners. As Camino pilgrims, we sent our luggage ahead to the hotel while we were walking. The luggage arrived in several deliveries, and Eve was incredibly helpful throughout the process. She proactively kept me updated on each delivery and even messaged me to share the good news when all of our luggage had finally arrived, without me having to ask. The check-in process was also very smooth and flexible. Since we wanted to attend the Pilgrim’s Mass upon arriving in Santiago, Eve kindly allowed us to go to the church first and complete the check-in afterward. Her brother was equally helpful. On the day of our departure, we needed three taxis to get to the train station, but taxis were difficult to find. When only one taxi arrived, he actively looked for alternatives, helped arrange additional transportation, and even prepared a backup plan using the bus. He was ready to help us with our luggage and made sure I had the correct directions to the station. Their warmth, care, and genuine hospitality went far beyond what we expected. I would happily recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Santiago, especially Camino pilgrims.

The room was a little small, but it was comfortable, clean, and perfectly adequate for our stay, so it was not a significant issue.

Excellent location for the old town and cathedral. Very nice and helpful owner on reception desk. Loved the small balcony with view and cool air.

A breakfast room would be nice but we knew there wasn't one before we booked.

Los propietarios son dos hermanos súper amables y encantadores. Se ofrecen para cuanto necesites durante tu estancia. Las instalaciones son modernas, limpias, y muy cómodas. El hotel se encuentra en el centro de Santiago, justo enfrente del mercado de abastos, y a 10 minutos andando de la plaza del Obradoiro. El edificio es un antiguo convento. Todo fantástico

La ubicación es fantástica, el hotel es muy nuevo, las habitaciones estaban impecables y la atención por parte de los hermanos que lo gestionan fue exquisita. Volveremos sin duda.

La ubicación, cama cómoda, personal muy amable. Perfecto para coger el bus de vuelta al aeropuerto. Lugar con mucho encanto.

Lovely stay at Santa Filomena! Great family owned hotel, with friendly hosts. Modern, clean and comfortable. Convenient location. We would definitely stay there again!
