Beautiful renovation of a historic inn with all the comforts of home . Delicious food at the attached pub. The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. everything was very clean.

The bed was really soft which we did not find comfortable. They turn off the street lights at night and it is really dark. I would strongly suggest bringing a nightlight or flashlight if you need to get up in the night. It’s an efficiency apartment with no breakfast available. There’s a small grocer in the village square, but supplies are limited. The drive in to the village was a little stressful.

Great value for money. We got an apartment for less than we'd normally pay for just a room. Staff very friendly and bought up meals to the apartment as the pub below was fully booked

A little noisy outside on Saturday night as its right in the town square, but only a minor disturbance

Flexibility and to be self contained within the apartment. Clean and comfy. Staff were all very friendly.

Would have preferred the main door to the landing area where the apartments were to have been locked, as would have felt more safe. We didn’t realise you had to climb a outside metal staircase to get to the apartments, would not be suitable for people with walking difficulties. Also we personally would have liked to have seen anti bacterial hand wash in the rooms and a spray sanitiser, but it didn’t ruin our stay . And we would like to be clear we would return to this accommodation. Also we would like to say that the extractor in the bathroom desperately needs a clean. It portrays the accommodation to be dirty, which it certainly wasn’t. Would have loved the option of a cooked breakfast, which wasn’t available. Food in the evening was and this was good.
