NOTHING, THE ROOM WAS HORRIBLE. SINCE WE COULDNT FIND ANY HOTEL, WE HAD TO STICK WITH THIS. THEY CHARGED 6X OF THE BASIC AMOUNT AND VALUE FOR THE MONEY IS ZERO,

I rarely write reviews, but my recent stay at Hotel Chela, Kumbakonam was so appalling that I feel compelled to warn others. This was, without exaggeration, the worst hotel experience of my life. 🚫 Cleanliness – Nonexistent From the moment I entered the room, it was obvious that cleanliness is not a priority here. The floors were sticky, the bathroom was unhygienic, and the bed linens looked like they hadn’t been washed in ages. Dust and grime were everywhere, making the entire environment feel neglected and unpleasant. 🦟 Mosquito Infestation The biggest nightmare was the mosquito problem. Despite closing all windows and doors, the room was swarming with mosquitoes. I spent the entire night battling bites, unable to sleep. The hotel provided no mosquito nets, repellents, or any basic measures to protect guests. It felt like staying in an open field rather than a hotel room. 💨 Foul Odor Adding to the misery was the horrible smell that lingered throughout the room and corridors. It was a mix of dampness, mold, and something rotten. No amount of ventilation helped, and it made the stay unbearable. A hotel should at least provide a fresh, neutral environment, but here it was suffocating. ⚠️ Overall Experience - No sense of hospitality or care from the staff. - Zero effort to maintain basic hygiene standards. - Absolutely not worth the money charged. I strongly advise anyone considering Hotel Chela to look elsewhere. Kumbakonam has many better options, and this place will only ruin your trip
