The Lobster

Staff were lovely. Bit concerned that the loft hatch in the hallway fell down when our door closed to our room. Could have caused a nasty head injury to someone in the hallway.

As above. Bed and bathroom lovely. Patches on walls where wall paper peeled off. Sash window banging in the night.

The room was clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly Breakfast was lovely.

I can imagine it may be a little noisy at times

It was well situated and staff were very accommodating.

Room 6 had no window in the bathroom and the fan didn’t work. The room had a pillar at the corner of the bed which I walked into on the way to the bathroom. The rest of the place was fine.

When we arrived all the radiators were on full blast, so the room was extremely hot. Not an issue as I was able to turn them off. Unfortunately the towel rail was more tricky to turn off and when we asked a member of staff to turn it off, it was an accidentally turned all the way up. This made the temperature of the bathroom and room extremely hot and uncomfortable. We eventually managed to turn it off ourselves but it would be beneficial to set the radiators to a suitable temperature in future. Everything else about our stay was fantastic

Retained its character of old. Close to the high street and the beach.

Room we had was a touch too small.
