"Bad Taste left"

Room was very nice and comfortable.

Had a misunderstanding regarding inside parking. Had a full overland car and wanted us to then unpack in the street when there was a large driveway to the room. Eventually allowed us after persistence from outside. Sour taste left after owner told us they hate South Africans as we always cause problems. ( the request to pull car in to off load seemed like a small request) answer started as "we dont allow this" no flexibility.

"City & cute place in the heart of Swakop."

The room was quite central. You could walk to lots of restaurants, Cafés and to the waterfront. Surrounding felt very safe.

Due to the cold weather the room was also quite cold. But hey it’s Namibian Winter and it’s just the way it is. Nothing to really whine about.

"Tolle Unterkunft"

Tolles Apartment, das vor allem noch viel hübscher ist als auf den Fotos. Die Lage ist perfekt, zentral gelegen und trotzdem ruhig. Km dazugehörenden Café kann man leckere Kleinigkeiten essen und es ist sehr gemütlich.

Location

Drip near front door. Sink taps not 100%. Toilet roll holder loose. No door to toilet/shower. Front door rattling. Bigger coffee plunger. Sorry about all this, but fix a few small bits and you have a Gem here.

"Very nice and acommodating staff, but room conditions can be improved"

The staff was very nice and accommodating.There was an issue where they painted the window sills of the room, and my partner leaned on them and had his jacket damaged (there was no warning of wet paint) - they were very nice about the cleaning of the jacket. The location is perfect, very close to the beach and to the area with nice shops and restaurants. There is a lovely coffee shop downstairs with very nice staff as well!

There is no bathroom door, and being very humid and cold, the steam from showering always stays in the room - even when showering with windows open. So the cold and humidity combo made it quite uncomfortable. Also, needing to ask my partner to step outside the room so that I can use the toilet also felt a bit much. The walls are very thin, you can hear the other guests sneezing, using the toilet, etc.
