The location is not in central Trowbridge, but the town does seem to cover quite a large area. But that said, the location does give easy access to most routes very easily. The staff and owner of the hotel are great, very welcoming and hospitable. The restaurant, which is obviously very popular with locals, is excellent. It was one of the best curries I’ve had in a long time!

The shower was a little temperamental, with the water being slow to warm up, and then slow to drain away; neither are uncommon in hotels. If I was being critical, It is probably the case that the hotel could do with a healthy investment to modernise it, but then it would lose it’s character.

Very attentive staff. Good on site parking. Excellent restaurant for a village inn.

Breakfast was very good, well cooked and good variety. Perhaps a little pricey as there were cheaper alterternatives in Trowbridge

friendliness and devotion of nepalese staff, full english breakfast was excellent, beautifully cooked.

limited choice of cereals at breakfast, only nepalese food served in the evening, closed on Monday. No body wash/shower gel, just one small piece of soap, a box of tissues would have been nice.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable and for us the location was good. The pub is very popular and the Nepalese food excellent but vety little noise and no cooking smells spoil our rest.

The stairs are steep and the curtains were difficult to close fully.

Room was very tired. Area once past the door to the rooms was exceptionally tired. No bed making, bin emptying, extra t bags were added to the room during our stay - had to ask for more t bags. Breakfast on day 1 was basic and not very hot, day 2 was hotter.

The breakfast was amazing staff were great too

The room smelt of the toilet and a musty smell and the room was tired and needed a freshen up and would have been great as the people were lovely

Good sized double room and comfortable The bar and restaurant both looked very nice and those drinking there told us how good it was - we didn’t experience either as we were at family birthday celebrations all weekend

The single bedroom was a little bit tight - the duvet in the double room was very thin and there wasn’t any extra covering or extra pillows readily available in the room - when we arrived we were told that the height adjustment bar in the shower was broken - I think we would have had to put up with it but the man who does some maintenance there happened to be drinking in the bar and he went to have a look and told us that he would sort it the next morning which he did
