"Excellent, welcoming staff making us want to return."

Excellent breakfast and staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly.Our room was spacious and generally comfortable.

On one of the hottest days of the year, if we opened our window to let the air in ,we heard the noise from the people drinking outside below.Also the mattress was a little too soft for my liking and whilst there was a fan, there was no AC in the room.

staff very helpful and polite and room very nicely decorated with good facilities. very good central location

Noise two nights running from cafe which turns into nightclub at night staying open until 2.00am. Building only 50 yards from hotel. A little more variety at breakfast would be nice.

I got the last on-site parking space thankfully. So it's definitely worth booking this in advance which I hadn't so I was lucky this time. The bedroom was spotless and comfy - I had everything I needed. The English breakfast was the best I have every had - all local produce, beautifully cooked. Excellent all round and a good location. Didn't use the bar but looked very popular and supplied local/real ale which would please my husband.

Fabulous hotel, perfect for our stay. Room was freshly decorated & beautifully appointed. Food was beyond excellent & choice of wines were great & fairly priced. All in all a perfect choice
