The Foresters Arms

Grassington is a wonderful little town and the pub is right in the centre. Unfortunately this means parking nearby is virtually impossible. Everyone was very friendly and helpful.

The room needed a serious rethink. It was sparse, only one pillow each on the bed,curtains hanging off the rail and hems coming down, broken light in the bathroom, no room service. We had to ask for extra teabags etc. The whole place appears to be run by volunteers, no evidence of anyone actually managing the place.

The location was amazing, the pub looked amazing.

The bed was so uncomfortable my husband fell out of the bed 3 times. As their is no support on the edge of the bed. So lumpy with springs. The music coming from the pub, was so loud it sounded like it was in our room. I can appreciate the pub having music on, on a Friday, the range of music was rave...it kept us both up till early hrs. We went home the very next day, as we couldn't sleep in the bed another night, I know the building is very old, but the floors need sound proofing or something. We won't be staying here again, for food and a visit definitely.

Dog friendly room. Clean bedding and large bathroom. Breakfast was made to order , nice and hot . The room was overlooking the street. Friendly helpful staff.

The floor was uneven, my mobility isn't that good. The bedroom was over the bar. A very noisy Saturday night, but was so tired I fell asleep. The breakfast was good, I would have liked staff to inform me of the procedure. I missed out on toast.

Great value for money, clean rooms, nice pub grub and good atmosphere.

The Food was excellent. Very tasty and always hot. You could tell everything had been cooked to order rather than being kept warmed up. Nothing seemed to much trouble for the staff. The bedroom and pub in general were all very clean.

Only 1 pillow each but we managed ok. I think the staff would have tried their best to get us another if we had asked.

Great location, plenty of restaurants and pubs in the village, friendly staff.
