Small and friendly! Breakfast was the best! Amicable staff and a varied offering with good coffee made for an enjoyable send off! If you have need of a quiet night away from the city or are simply exploring the area like I was, do consider the Schwanen.

It is better if the receptionist speaks English. But she was comfortable and trying to understand everything. Friendly.

"It would have been nicer if the facility was completely finished being upgraded"

We wanted something outside of the city and this definitely filled the bill. It was also a very quick ride into the town square of Aarberg

The kitchen facility was under reconstruction. The staff did their best to keep that out of view but it would have been nice to have known that.

I missed some oatmeal for breakfast. Breakfast was ok, but did not meet the quality of the room.
