Medieval Inn

The hotel is located in an excellent spot, in the heart of the old city, between restaurants and shops. The modern city and the port are also within 5 minutes walk. This is a family-held hotel, very warm and welcoming; the staff is very friendly and generous, smiling and willing to help for any request you may have. The hotel also offers a beautiful garden/patio, like a green island between old stones and a roof to sit with a glass of wine offering a panoramic view, from the city walls to the Mediterranean sea. The rooms are cleaned, towels are changed on a daily basis.

There is no elevator (medieval building), in case you need for one floor this is a minus.

Excellent Location, good room, we had a 3 bed room, travelling from Australia fr 6 weeks we had significant luggage and needed it. Breakfast was lovely in the garden, bathroom and room was serviced very day, staff were exceptionally helpful . Our ferry was cancelled due to a strike and the host was brilliant extending our stay and finding us accommodation for the last night.

While there was no fridge in the room the large fridge in the common area was available for use. The stairs in common with all these old buildings are a bit steep, no issue for us but like the old city in general if you have accessibility issue be aware. The whole access issue to the old city is problematic, as there is no car access, there are services with large golf carts to assist visitors with luggage. Nothing to do with the property but do your research re parking etc..

Very welcoming atmosphere. Family owned business. Lovely garden. Accommodating and attention to details. Definitely would recommend to my friends.

We just came back from an excellent stay at Medieval Inn! Warm welcome and perfect location in the heart of the Old Town, with a lovely garden and a peaceful rooftop. The homemade breakfast served in the garden is a real little paradise . Rooms are comfortable and well laid out — perfect for a getaway in Rhodes. Manos and his family are incredibly friendly and always ready to share great local restaurant recommendations for dinner. A place we highly recommend! Miss already the place, for sure will be back

Schönes Ambiente, sehr gastfreundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber, direkt in der Altstadt. Es gibt einen wunderschönen Garten in dem man sein Frühstück genießen kann und eine tolle Terrasse mit einen reichlichen Ausblick auf die Altstadt. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und mit allem notwendigen ausgestattet. Wir werden sicher wiederkommen.

La posizione è estremamente comoda: nel centro della città vecchia, ma nascosta rispetto al caos delle strade più turistiche. In 5’ a piedi si può raggiungere qualunque angolino della città vecchia. All’arrivo siamo stati accolti con un bicchiere d’acqua e, dopo circa cinque minuti, era già pronta la camera nonostante fossimo arrivati un paio d’ore prima del check-in. Abbiamo avuto modo di conoscere tutte le persone che lavorano nella struttura, la cui accoglienza è esattamente come quella che potremmo avere in famiglia. Manos, grazie alla sua esperienza, ci ha aiutato nel creare un itinerario perfetto per i nostri 4 giorni, consigliandoci anche i migliori ristoranti adeguati alle nostre esigenze. Proprio a Manos vanno i nostri più grandi ringraziamenti: la sua presenza, la passione in quello che fa, si respira in ogni angolo della struttura. Per lui ogni ospite è una storia, nessun numero, niente lasciato al caso. Noi durante il soggiorno abbiamo sempre fatto colazione nelle location esterne alla struttura, ma col senno di poi siamo convinti che sarebbe stato più soddisfacente fare colazione in quel delizioso giardino dove ci siamo fermati a chiacchierare la sera. Altra nota importante da segnalare è il silenzio: c’è molto rispetto per chi dorme, quindi non troverete schiamazzi o atteggiamenti fuori luogo in tarda serata. Questo hotel è un gioiello in un paese che conserva tradizione e bellezza. Assolutamente consigliato.

Great place to stay, perfect location! The room was comfortable and everything we needed for our short break in the old town. Manos and his family were amazing, friendly, welcoming, and helpful with lots of local information. They went above and beyond to ensure that we arrived safely, had everything we needed, and enjoyed our stay. There is so much attention to detail in both the decoration of the rooms and the beautiful garden, a lovely oasis of peace after a day's sightseeing. We can recommend the breakfast too, great value for money.

My husband was disappointed that the tea was Earl Grey, but Manos more than made up for it with delicious local wine 😂
