Schwendi Lodge

I liked the fact that it didn't feel like a hotel while still having all the amenities I'd expect from a hotel. The beds were also the comfiest I had on that part of my trip. The view from everywhere was gorgeous, but honestly that's just that entire region of Switzerland. What a beautiful country!

A really wonderful experience staying here! The view from the balcony is mesmerizing and the atmosphere around the property is enchanting. It’s also only half an hour walking distance from the Iltios station which will take you directly to Chäserrugg and I highly recommend the walk. I mostly enjoyed the chat with the owner, who is really nice and friendly. She was kind enough to share her recent travel experience to China with me (yes I am Chinese).

Unfortunately I could not rent a vehicle because of my age. So it was difficult to get to the Wildhaus ski lift

Surroundings. The nature is heaven on Earth. Warm welcome by the staff. Feels like home.
