Excelente pousada. Simples; rústica e confortável; acolhedora e bem localizada (beira-mar; próximo da vila, mas não o suficiente para ter muita gente). Boa ducha. Café da manhã gostoso.

We loved our stay at Pousada Tortuga! The location is very quiet, peaceful and safe and has direct access to the beautiful beaches. We liked that there were only a few rooms so it felt very personal and special. The room was even nicer than the photos, it was spacious, clean and very well kept. The garden area was also beautiful. Mariano was a relaxed and friendly host, he made us feel very welcomed and also helped us with renting quad bikes. If you’re looking for somewhere outside of the centre, we highly recommend Pousada Tortuga!

As mentioned in the other reviews, it’s around 30 minute walk to the centre. We didn’t mind that much and it felt very safe.

O lugar. O luxo da Pousada é a natureza em todos os aspectos. Área verde, espaços, o mar em sua beleza.

O café da manhã poderia ter mais opções no cardápio, por ser a principal refeição.

A pousada é muito boa, café da manhã muito farto, com ovos, tapioca e cuscuz. A cama tem mosquiteiro e tem ar condicionado. Fica um pouco longe do centrinho, mas se gostar de caminhar, levará 30 minutos a pé. O local é na frente da praia, muito bonito.

Location and peaceful

Super friendly host, everything was great! Directly at the beach, beach acces from the own garden. Great little surfing pointbreak just in front of the garden.

No Windows in the cabañas , so its either dark and cold or Light but Hot Supermarket and Restaurants are not soooo close but the location makes up for that

Nice stay close to Barra Grande. Great breakfast. Mariano was very nice, always ready to help. Recommended.
