We had a ground floor room, the floor boards above creaked very loudly and the water pipes for the room above were noisy

Didn't have breakfast. Basic room but spotless, staff were friendly as soon as we walked in the door. Atmosphere was also really good in the bar, had a lovely meal served by lovely people. Outside seating area which we used until rain came on and then we moved inside and stayed in the bar for the rest of the night. Old building which meant good soundproofing, heard nothing despite the property being full. Tried to stay another night but it was fully booked. Will definitely be back.

There wasn't anything we didn't like, it was great value for money

Nice and clean, good sized bedroom and ensuite. Breakfast and dinner were very good. Enough toiletries and tea making items
