"Glad we did it but expensive"

It has a nice pool. It is a 20 minute walk to town and a 5 minute walk to the beach. We were very excited to visit Uruguay but we found it to be an expensive destination for accommodation and meals.

The room was very basic. For what we paid our expectations were higher.

"It couldn’t have been better."

We felt so lucky to find such a perfect yet affordable hotel in the quiet but convenient area of La Juanita, Jose Ignacio. We had no car and we walked to amazing places: just 2 blocks to La Olada, 3 blocks to the Mansa Beach, a bit longer (<1 mile) to Rizome bookstore and cafe and Ta Khut (James Turrel), and a bit longer (<2 miles) to work up an appetite for Parador La Huella on the Brava Beach.

It was quiet and well-appointed, with a delicious breakfast, helpful staff, good AC, a lovely pool and chairs and tables for hanging out in the shade. Bath towels and beach umbrellas and bicycles provided.

"A reasonable stay with reasonable price."

Comfortable bed and a very short ride to José Ignacio downtown area.

There was a very unpleasant sewage smells around outside pool area time to time. Rooms are a bit small if one stays long especially for a couple. All around good breakfast, but the menu stays the same for a week. A bit boring.

El desayuno es excelente, completo y atento a detalles como el punto del huevo. Todo es de muy buena calidad.

Es una linda posada. Las habitaciones podrían tener mejor mantenimiento. Los baños están impecables

La limpieza y la comodidad de su cama espectacular. Solo faltaría más percheros en el baño de la habitación 9. El desayuno súper completo y casero. A 3 cuadras de la playa. Lugar muy tranquilo.

Habría que poner antideslizante en los escalones de la pileta

Desde el momento del arribo destaco la calidez del personal y su buena predisposición. El servicio de desayuno muy completo, quizas podrían ampliar el horario del mismo, ya que es de 9 a 11.
