Quiet, clean and spacious bungalows with WiFi and a/c that work very well and a private outdoor bathroom. Lovely welcoming family that are more than happy to help with anything you need during your stay! Bikes are available to rent from Welly Bungalows and it’s just around 5 minutes cycle from amazing beaches on both sides of the island like turtle point and sunset beach.

AC worked great. The owner(?) let us use their stove to heat some water for tea as the room didn't have a kettle.

They had no clue we were coming and we had to wait 40 minutes for the room (its very hot to wait outside after travelling). The room was brand new but really dusty as they were still building the pool outside. It was really messy and dirty, full of debris and rubish. Not a very nice view for a holiday. Wor kers were also very loud. Bathroom is outside the room, open air style, and its very hard to use it at morning/afternoon time under the sun! You burn your butt and sweat like crazy only to go peeing. No much furniture (only a chair and a TV table) so not much space to put your things. I reckon its going to get better as they re still building it but right now needs a lot of improvement.

Bernadus, the host is such an attentive, caring and helpful man. He and his family are there to support you in anything you need, including laundry, tour tickets, advice, bike rentals, etc. The cabins were cozy and having an outdoor bathroom is a very cool experience.

The cabins don't have shelving, hangers or drawers. It was a challenge to find a place to put our things. Also, when we arrived the swimming pool and grounds were under construction. The contractors worked very hard and made quick progress. Soon, the facility will be complete with a pool and very nice.

I didn't get to stay at Welly bungalow , i am older and was struggling with sleeping, the owner very kindly transferred me to a sister bungalow called Gihon , so my review is for Gihon. I would however like to say that the owner of Welly was really concerned I wasn't sleeping well as the next day he came up with some other options for which I was truly grateful. He is really interested in his guests welfare , thank you Bernard .

We actually left early after booking for 3 days in advance, a horrible night of bugs in the bed. The place is not finished and didn’t look as the photos. Still needs construction. Cheap and disappointing. Don’t waste your worries and money.

Everything was perfect, the location, the bungalow… but what makes really the difference is how kind is Nads and his staff. As a solo traveller is good to feel like home sometimes. I end up staying one full month there. They will really take care of you! Best place… see you soon 🧡

The most accommodating hosts at Welly Bungalow, Bernadus and his family do everything they can to help. The location is brilliant for beach access to the north, west and Turtle Beach. There are also a few restaurants within 2 mins that serve breakfast for ease! The bungalows are simple and minimal, clearly well looked after. We stayed whilst the new ones and pool were being built but the hosts tried their very best to keep it clean and lovely for us. For the price this place is well worth considering! They also have bikes to use but they could do with some TLC!
