Underrated gem with wonderful staff Pousada Pilar is truly underrated. Beautiful and full of character, with original architectural details and thoughtful design. The staff are warm and welcoming, and the homemade breakfast is stunning. It feels more like staying in a curated home than a hotel. Highly recommended.

"Un rincón de Arraial super disfrutable y cómodo."

La semana de navidad casi que fuimos los únicos hospedados.. muy tranquilo, mucho verde y mucha paz en todos los rincones que están arreglados con detalles simples y hermosos para descansar de la ciudad.

La piscina cuando llegamos estaba no tan limpia, muchas hojas que caen y algunas ya en el fondo. A mitad de semana limpiaron y entonces se aprovechó.

Excelente desayuno (de 8.00 a 10.00 hs) Personal de recepción muy atento y cordial. Camas muy cómodas. Sábanas y toallas impecables. La posada tiene un estilo rústico por lo que no se distingue si la limpieza es profunda ó los materiales son así. (ej. revestimiento del baño) Hermoso jardín lleno de plantas.

En el inmueble viven mascotas que usan los mismos espacios que los huéspedes. Debes saber esto si no te gustan perros y gatos y cierto olor a las mascotas que hay en algunos momento con el clima húmedo. Algunas de las habitaciones (no fue la que ocupé yo) se acceden por una escalera caracol al aire libre hasta el segundo piso, tenerlo en cuenta si viajan con maletas grandes, niños, ó dificultad para subirlas. Luego de que has pasado algunos días en Arraial encuentras lugares que tiene mejor relación precio/servicio.

Pousada uma excelente localização e os funcionários bastante atenciosos.

O quarto é bastante espaçoso e confortável. No entanto, as paredes apresentavam rabiscos, compromete a aparência do ambiente. Minha namorada teve uma crise de rinite, possivelmente causada pela poeira acumulada ou pela roupa de cama. Além disso, os abajures laterais, revestidos em tecido semelhante à camurça, estavam visivelmente empoeirados.
