The Bell at Old Sodbury

Large room, breakfast onsite - nice area behind building to relax. Dinner was good as evening meal.

As a Hiker from the trail - a little far to walk adding an extra mile each way from the trail.- Shuttle transportation would have been nice as an option. Also - room windows very very hard to open/close

Room was clean and bed comfortable. Evening meal was good and the cooked breakfast excellent. Staff were very helpful, friendly and very smiley! Well stocked mini bar in fridge.

Small things like the kettle, not easy to fill up and windows a little difficult to open and close.

Comfortable rooms and the biggest breakfast we encountered on the Cotswold.

The location is a bit out of the way if you are walking the Cotswold. I did not include this in our rating. One of our 2 rooms was not fully painted.

Having the option to stay put at the hotel for an evening meal and scrumptious breakfast was wonderful. We appreciated the kindnesses extended to us.

Hopefully the window in our room will be fixed so that it can open.

very friendly service and accommodating ... steep narrow staiwell which would prove difficult for people with any walking difficulties as no lift when lugging your suitcases upstairs - this was really the only down side

The new look, the picture is out of date of the exterior, nice pleasant garden, friendly staff, comfy room.

This place is really in Chipping Sodbury. The breakfast was a budget one with one slice of pre spreaded {not butter} toast partially under the breakfast so no point in the small jars of preserves on 'display', no fruit although it said on the menu and just 3 tubs of yoghurt for the entire breakfast folk - we used two and we were there at breakfast opening time. The orange juice was watered down or not really juice.

We had the warmest welcome as soon as we stepped through the door. The dining was great and our room was not only handsomely decorated, but super comfortable.
