The Bell at Old Sodbury

What a gem of a pub. Great food which was actually homemade , we actually saw the pies being made . Room was comfortable and had everything you needed.

Very comfortable and clean bedroom. Food (lunch, dinner and breakfast) all excellent. Good service by staff who were all pleasant and attentive.

Road traffic noise from the road at the front of the property kept us awake at night. We were a family party with 3 separate bedrooms and those in 2 of the 3 rooms had disturbed nights sleep. The temperature was hot on the night we stayed but because of the traffic noise we had to shut the windows and use the small fans that were provided but traffic noise could still be heard.

The room was gorgeous and spacious. The morning breakfast was lovely!! Beautiful facility and grounds.

The staff were really friendly and welcoming. Such a lovely pub, gorgeous rooms and a super outdoor area. A perfect location for the Westonbirt Arboretum and Highgrove Gardens.

Nice, comfortable hotel. Clean room and beds. Standard room size for 2 occupants. Breakfast and dinner were good.

Beds were slightly lumpy, not firm. Not really a dislike, but more of a fyi. This hotel is on the outskirts of Chipping Sodbury, it is not in Old Sodbury as the address suggests.

I liked all of it. My daughter and I stayed here as we went to good times festival and also visiting my son too. We dined here in the evening and breakfast in the morning. The food on both occasions was delicious. Our room was comfortable and the bed was particularly nice. Tea and coffee facilities in the room and complementary bottled water. We would definitely stay again.
