Deer Valley Trails

We booked a 2 night stay but because of hurricane Debbie we couldn't get there for the first night (roads were impassable). They did not charge us for that night.

Remote and quiet location. Staff at the restaurant was helpful and friendly. Check in process was quick and convenient. The room was a good size and everything was in working order. The overall property is well lit at night. Plus each unit had automatic exterior lights. Parking is close to the room and no stairs which makes it easy to carry things to and from the unit.

Shower was very small. We could hear neighbours talking through the wall. Pillows were not comfortable. Wi-fi connection was not reliable and difficult to check weather or search local attractions from our room. Would be nice if the restaurant served breakfast.

It was remote, was not familiar with the area, nice quiet place , apparently a snowmobile hot spot in season. Cabins were rustic & functional. The food was good and the staff was helpful and friendly.

The staff was very friendly. The location is beautiful and it’s very easy to get onto route 458 from here. Phenomenal food at the restaurant/bar which was also fairly priced. The room was cozy and private, the entire place was well lit which definitely helped me feel safe as a solo traveler. A great place for traveling on a budget and I would definitely recommend to anyone. I absolutely would stay here again.

The room did have a bit of a musty smell and the cabin wifi was out the entirety of my five night stay. While the lack of cabin wifi was inconvenient, it was not a big issue.
