Clean and comfortable, and conveniently situated for exploring the town and catching the train

The shower was poor quality

It was adequate for a one night's stay

When leaving in morning just after 8am there was noone about, keys were left in room. The wifi pass word was not passed to me. Found it on a manager's door on a landing. There was no fulll inreviewformation sheet in place in the room altho a bit of info was found on the back of entry door. Nothing but a vague verbal mention that the shower switch outside bathroom had to be turned on , no hint abt how soon before.

The bedroom and bathroom were clean and tidy.

The main building looked run down from the outside and was closed. Entry was by ringing a bell on an adjacent door.The interior of the building was not what I was expecting after paying £95 and without breakfast. The double bedroom although very clean was minuscule with a hand basin in the corner of it as there was no room in the bathroom for it. Very claustrophobic. Management policy : no guests allowed. No welcome pack and wi-fi password eventually discovered stuck to the manager’s office door. Not for me, cut my losses packed my stuff back up and left with relief shortly after arriving.
