Two Rock Vista

Very welcoming host who appeared genuinely pleased to meet us. The view was absolutely breathtaking. The accommodation was far enough from the main commercial street to be quiet and peaceful, whilst still only being a 10 minute walk from the restaurants etc.

Amazing view Best breakfast I’ve had in Sri Lanka. Coconut pancakes were spectacular. The people taking care of us were lovely and welcoming and very helpful!

It was a bit of a rough walk to town and the steps to the property were difficult. There was no sign for the property. They are redoing the stairs and hopefully adding the sign to make arrival easier.

The view was Absolutely breathtaking, comfy bed, lovely breakfast and good location, the hosts were lovely.

Even though it states it has no air con it does have a fan so thought would be fine but it is literally like a greenhouse. No way of cooling the room down. Also could do with better signage or directions to place.

This small family owned guest house is located in a stunning position overlooking the Ella Gap. Fabulous view. Comfy bed and good bathroom. Spotlessly clean. Nice breakfast. It’s located a 30 min walk away from Ella town or a short tuk tuk ride away.

This wasn’t a problem for me but was for my travelling companions. The rooms to make most of the stunning southern facing view are fully glass fronted and the rooms have ceiling fan and stand alone fan but no a/c. In February when we travelled they were hard to cool and made sleeping tricky.

The views from the property are amazing and the owners will do anything they can to help you. We arrived slightly earlier than check in time due to our transfers and we had a very warm welcome and were asked if we would like to sit and enjoy the views whilst they finished off our room. They gave us advice on the local area and made / served us a fantastic breakfast every morning on the balcony. The hotel is off one of the main tourist roads in Ella and central to everything you could need. Compared to other places in Sri-lanka this hotel was excellent value for money and we had a great stay

It is difficult for cars to get to the property due to narrow lanes - we arrived in the day time, so didn't mind the walk (it's quite scenic) but I imagine it is difficult to find in the dark for the first time. There's a few steps / hills to get to the property to also bare in mind. There are no signs for the hotel, although the images make it easy to spot when you are close. There is no air con in the rooms so can get quite warm. A ceiling fan and stand alone fan took the edge off though. We had an occasional power cut and the signal / WiFi wasn't the best - although due to the height of the town I imagine this is true for most hotels in the area!

The views from Two Rock Vista are simply incredible!! It's a great place to sit and simply take in the beauty of the stunning surroundings. The couple who run the place are really lovely. The breakfast was fantastic! The rooms were extremely clean, very comfortable and a resonable size.

The room were pretty warm at night. There are fans and I did sleep ok, so just a minor concern to anyone who would prefer AC to keep cool at night. The wifi is intermittent. Most services in this area are 4G so I suspect this will be down to the number of the users in Ella exceeding the capacity of the 4G network services, rather than a fault. The property sits on a steep hill with a number of steps to reach it. Not an issue for me but if you have mobilty problems, I wouldn't recommend it.

Owner was very helpful. The view is amazing. Really good value for money.
