Great location and beautiful property.

Location was beautiful, food was amazing, had plenty of parking, staff were very attentive, bed very comfortable. The best views.

Some things were broken such as bath tap. There was no shower. Quite a few dead bugs on windowsill. Could do with updating radiators.

Travelling with young children is always difficult but staff made us feel completely at ease. The gardens are beautiful. Food delicious. Room really spacious.

The Swan is a brilliant gastropub ideally located for access to both Oxford and the Cotswolds - it is located a pretty part of the English countryside close to a river and with country walks from its front door - the food is very good and the wine list is extensive - but it is also a local pub - and it has historic associations with the Mitford family

Nothing not to like - but staying there is not a bargain basement option - it is a place to go for treat!

Lovely location, history and character

A broken mirror, no light in the shower, couldn’t really get the u/flr heating to work but none of these things were urgent as only staying one night.
