Hotel Ashoka (Authentic Indian Cuisine)

Great location. We ate at the restaurant twice and food was quick and tasty. Really helpful staff/owners.

Room was not very clean. No where to hang clothes/put belongings. Bathroom was dirty. Fault with our bathroom sink as it was very old and not attached to the pipe below so water soaked the floor anytime you ran the tap. The owners fixed the problem the day we highlighted it (although it didn’t look like a new problem). Sink was also hanging off the wall. Quite dated although did the job. Could do with more pillows as they were very thin.

Friendly owner and staff, very clean and welcoming.

Location was supper, food tasty, owner a real gem.

The owner was very friendly and responsive. He even printed out some documents for us. The indian food in the restaurant was so good, we ate there 3 times in a row. (and there is a 5% discount for hotel guests). We had to change rooms because we extended our stay. All our things were transferred for us by the hotel personell, which was very convenient.

We had a little problem in our room and therefore some water was coming in through the window frame. The owner took care of it right away.

Really good value for El Nido! Excellent location, just off the main road so it’s quiet but super close to everything Shared bathrooms were clean

Sometimes the toilet didn’t flush but that is common for the area with low water pressure

Ashok was so helpful and at hand for any needs. We were renting a scooter across the street and he came out to ensure we got a fair price. Great location near the centre of el nido and beach.

The water/bathroom had a slight damp smell.
