Pousada do Parque

Its perfect location, in the national park with large grounds and lots of bird life. Its small scale. Its restaurant with excellent food and a great view and its friendly staff.

The room was quite small and spartan. Not a problem since one would spend most of the time outdoors.

Amazing location. Great for bird watching.

Being surrounded by the natural beauty of a national park, with the luxury of enjoying exquisite gourmet meals in a somewhat private ambiance, is truly an exceptional experience. Moreover, Yann, Elessandra, Alexandre, Cynthia, and Jane stand out as extraordinary staff members, contributing significantly to the overall excellence of the experience.

I am eager to return despite any imperfections. However, there were some concerns, like an instance of staff entering the room despite our specific request for no room service. Additionally, while the setting may not be ideally suited for children for several reasons, they are still welcomed there. The comfort of the rooms also has the potential for improvement.

Beautiful grounds. Fabulous chef & friendly staff. Tranquil. Fresh produce from kitchen garden. I enjoyed having something other than the Brazilian staples of rice, beans and meat.

Not much. I didn’t have a car so I couldn’t get out to look much beyond the walks around the property but that was fine. It’s a bit remote; down a dirt road with a locked gate. So not that easy to just get an uber to different places

the grounds were beautiful. There were many birds and they had feeders to attract them, Nice hiking around the property, the staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was nice.

Everything was perfect! Absolutely perfect! The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Mario at the reception will make you feel at home. The location is the closest you will have to the main attractions. But the Pousada itself IS an attraction. A great and comfortable place where you can watch the local fauna if you pay attention around you. Spare some time to sit outside when the night falls and enjoy a symphony, literally a symphony nature will offer you. As a bonus, a sumptuous bonus, the restaurant will grant you the best food, sustainable food, exquisite meals prepared by the great chef Ale Salgueiro and his talented staff. One of the best meals I had during my trips by far. I even had the chance to experience some of his new experimental dishes, which was absolutely mind-blowing. Leaving Pousada do Parque was almost sad. I felt at home there. But I know it will be a place I will come back as soon as can. If you read complaints about the roads, prices, whatever - remember it's inside the National Park, where city-like improvements are forbidden. I wanted to experience Nature and that's why I was there. It's absolutely great if you are a reasonable and not a professional complainer. 110% positive experience.

The only improvement I suggest is to give customers the map and directions at least 48h before check-in. Not so easy to find the Pousada entrance since it's shared with one of the Parks' own gates. But finding it was also part of the fun!
