Steep stairs Small bathroom/shower Socks found under bed & top drawer of bedside cabinet still full of curtain tie backs & curtain hooks & bits etc - cleanliness of room needs more attention

The bathroom was too small...the bed was on wheels every time you sat on it it moved the whole building needs upgrading. Big stain on the bedroom carpet...tape on the dining room carpet.Everything very dated.stayed one night would not stay longer.

Very tasty breakfast and just the right amount. A lovely location in the heart of Cawston, with a view of the impressive church tower etc from my window. The food available in the pub (for separate payment) - traditional menu options as they describe it was tasty - and there was plenty of it. The staff were very friendly, both the one who served breakfast and the one who welcomed when I arrived during the day and who served Mr pub food
