The Pickwick Inn & Oliver's Restaurant

Beautiful views from our king size sea view /estuary room , it was warm, clean and welcoming , the bed was really comfortable, with lovely bed linen, beautiful soft white fluffy towels, Plenty of hot water, the furnishings were lovely and a beautiful bathroom . Nice little touch with the mini fridge and the biscuits were replenished every day and nicer than the usual ones in other places we’ve stayed. Plenty of milk, tea /coffee . The cleaning ladies did an excellent job and breakfast staff were all very helpful and friendly.

The food in the restaurant was very expensive, So we didn’t eat there except for the breakfast which was very nice.

A lovely surprise - the bedrooms are in an adjoining building and number six in total. This means a very short walk to avery welcoming pub with excellent beer and wonderful locally sourced and cooked to order food prepared by a couple of lovely chefs ,delivered to our table overlooking Padstow by attentive and excellent waiting staff. A real treat

Gemütlich eingerichtete, sehr geräumige Zimmer mit super Bad und bequemem Bett. Schöne Aussicht auf die Felder und Bucht von Padstow. Gute Lage. Sehr gute Frühstücksauswahl mit super Service.

Im Restaurant waren die grossflächigen Panorama-Schiebetüren die ganze Zeit weit geöffnet; damit war es kühl und zugig. Auch auf Nachfrage wurden die Fenster nicht zumindest einseitig geschlossen, mit dem Hinweis, dass es sonst für die Servicekräfte zu warm wird. Das könnte man anders lösen
