"amazing pet friendly pub"

10.0

Really nice rooms, pet friendly, a nice restaurant and an amazing dark and atmospheric pub. Attentive and friendly staff, good parking and large and well appointed rooms with an amazing view of the sea

not much, wish they wouldn't clean with bleach just before your trying to eat breakfast!

"Lovely location, great views, friendly staff"

8.0

Breakfast was great and a good selection to choose from

Bar opening hours, we returned from a day out at around 9.30pm to have a drink at the bar at the Pickwick, but the it was closed. We knocked on the door to the pub, they said we could take a drink to our room but the pub/ restaurant was closed!

"Large comfortable room with stunning views"

9.0

Very large comfortable room. Decor is lovely, everything looked quite new. The bathroom is very spacious with a decent size bath and a separate large walk in shower. We had a large balcony and the view across fields to the Camel estuary and beyond is stunning. The staff are lovely and very attentive.

Strong drain smell in the pub/restaurant around the toilets, but this did not impact on any part of our stay.

Amazing room, with views over the estuary. Very modern, comfortable rooms that would put a lot of 5 star hotels to shame. Very friendly, obliging hosts. Great location to access the Camel Trail without the busyness of Padstow (if you don't mind the big hills back up!).

No negatives, all good.

"Wonderful stay at a beautiful Inn near Padstow, the culinary capital of Cornwall."

10.0

The breakfast was outstanding, especially the Haddock and eggs and the smoked salmon and scrambled eggs. There were plenty of options available. We also had a very enjoyable dinner on our final night. The rooms in the Inn were spacious, looked brand new (even though the renovation was 12 years old according to the very friendly and convivial owners, Eddie and Jenny. The suite I occupied had every amenity required for a long-term stay at the Inn. The shower was easy to operate, and I appreciated having a kettle and a selection of teas and biscuits. I would recommend the Inn to anyone touring Cornwall.

The doors to the rooms were hard to lock, but it was a minor inconvenience. Everything else was perfect.
