Friendly staff and lovely dogs - historic building in the quiet village.

Breakfast was good and staff were very friendly. Great location and took dog for a lovely walk in fields in the morning.

The bathroom was poor. Towel rail was dirty, shower didn't work properly and one was the towels provided was dirty. We didn't realise until late at night and were only staying one night, so didn't use it. Room felt dated and was dusty.

What it says on the tin , old country pub, not modernised so perfect and real

The room was clean and comfy and the staff were excellent. The landlord was very friendly and helpful and the girl that was working on the bar was very nice and made us feel welcome.
