Lovely location in a quiet village. Friendly staff, friendly locals in the bar. Quirky, but in a good way. Good value for money.

Limited choice of cask beers, food is a bit basic but reasonably priced. Shower in bedroom rather primitive. Strange that it is not open at weekends, when it apparently functions as an air bnb rather than a facility for the villagers.

Rustic and tucked away- if this is your thing then this is a great place to stay. The following night I was staying on the 14th floor of a city Centre tower block hotel- I wished I was back at the White Hart!
