Felicity Inn

It is an amazing place with even more amazing views over Ella Rock. Just a 10-minute walk from the town, this is the perfect getaway to relax and explore the region. 👀 The bed was super comfy and the breakfast was delicious! Location is excellent, about 10 mins walk from Ella town centre, and with a beautiful view down the mountain pass. The breakfasts were delicious. The owner was very helpful, welcoming, and gave us a free lift to the station when we left. The room was very clean, and the WiFi worked well.

We had a log cabin type room, which had an enormous bed but not much room for anything else, nowhere to hang anything up. There was a kettle, but the flex did not reach the plug. There was no soap or coffee when we arrived, but they were provided on request. There were other rooms at the property, maybe they have more space or better facilities.

Wifi wasn’t very good. Ants and lizards, more than usual owner was pushing his own services a bit

Difficult to find

Saman and his family were so welcoming and helpful ... an amazing spot with views straight on to Ella Rock and Little Adam's Peak. Monkeys performed acrobatics in the trees in front of our balcony ...even stole our peanuts and eat them in front of us... such a great spot. Easy to walk to 9 Arches and Adam's Peak and in to town. Very quiet as up a back lane and the breakfast was the best we had in Sri Lanka... a great find!

So peaceful and quiet at the Felicity Inn surroundings made you feel like you were in the jungle even though you were a very short walk to the centre of Ella. Room was very spacious and clean, tea and coffee facilities in your room as well as bottled water. Breakfast was absolutely amazing and the hosts were brilliant couldn't do enough for you. Would have stayed longer if had the time.

There was nothing not to like - just need to be aware the property is not suitable for a car to drive right up to the property.

Great location in a quite, green area, but still close to the city. The hosts were very nice and helpful and did everything they could to make our stay perfect.

In one of the rooms the shower was a bit too old and difficult to use.
