Felicity Inn

Fabulous view, delicious and generous breakfast (enough to take away for a snack later) and friendly helpful hosts. Saman organized our train seat bookings and Tuktukked us wherever we wanted to go.

We were a little surprised how far from the centre of town Felicity Inn is located. However this was never any problem as Saman was always able to get us to our desired destinations.

Saman & his family were amazing during our stay! The location was perfect & the view you get from the villa was stunning. This was by far our best stay during our trip to Sri Lanka. The breakfast was 10 out of 10, and we had something different every day which allowed us to try different Sri Lankan dishes; make sure you ask for the pancakes too! They also helped us with a transfer & generally were just really helpful. Thanks Saman!

Breathtaking views and incredibly peaceful. Everything down to helping sort a bike to rent, to activities recommended to breakfast and even a ride to the train station at 6am before our train. The setting is incredible, the family and hosts are amazing and so friendly and accomodating.

The host family couldn’t do enough for you. Fabulous breakfast, transport and pickup to town in their tuktuk free of charge. The chalet was beautiful and very comfortable. The views were of little Adams peak, Ella valley and Ella rocks. Neighbors included group of monkeys providing ample entertainment in the morning. Situated in the mountain where you really felt one with nature. Stayed for two nights but could have stayed for lot longer.

A little tricky to get to in a big car as roads veer narrow and bumpy.

It is really a small place but the hosts take very good care of you. The breakfast was amazing and the best we had in Sri Lanka. The location was also great as it was quiet but close to the centre of Ella

Probably the nicest, most helpful staff we had in Sri Lanka, which is saying a lot. Quiet area. Also, the rooms are their own freestanding cabins, so even more quiet. Clean. Our room had beanbag chairs which we found very comfortable. Good breakfast. Nice view through the trees. The walk to town is mostly level for Ella, which is quite hilly.

Not easy to find the place, although the manager picked us up from the main road. Room was not very large. Shower water would not warm up much/any. Also, as is so often the case in Sri Lanka, nothing separates the shower from the toilet and sink areas so the entire bathroom gets wet when you use the shower.
