Nice and friendly host and great breakfast! Next to the elefant orphanage.

I had a very comfortable stay at Suwani Pinnawala Homestay…. the room was clean, spacious, and well-furnished, with a spotless bathroom…. the hosts were exceptionally kind, especially the lady of the house, who went out of her way to prepare special vegetarian meals for me…. breakfast was excellent, and the homestay is conveniently close to the elephant bathing grounds. Highly recommended!

The place is opp. Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage & elephant path to the river for their bathing. Spacious room with mosquito netting, medium size fridge in the room, common washing machine, electric kettle & hair dryer.

Very nice host couple. The breakfast was delicious with a wide range of local dishes and a daily changing menu. If we requested, we were served an equally delicious dinner. Spacious room with perfectly functioning equipment. There were even 2 bathrobes in addition to the towels and linen. Quiet location, 2 minutes from the Elephant Orphanage.

If the readers viewing the review to book this property..please read completely and then Don't hestitate to book this property as below are the reasons and my own experience which is very positive. We booked this property for 1 day stay and then we planned to reach by 11pm in night but unfortunately we able to reach the property only by 3am in midnight... The take carer was couples Uncle and aunty (with young mindset and care) They didn't even hesitate to receive us in midnight 3am which was really good and warm welcome.. The room was very tidely and clean enough to stay and enjoying with friends. The next morning we were planning to go to elephant orphanage but the takecarer directed to the near by elephant spot where the elephant bathing, riding and feeding the elephant.. Luckily the takecarer uncle only helped with tuktuk ride to the spot and he took care of us like their own daughter and son... He help us to get the best rate from the vendor of elephant camp. Breakfast was served on time which was prepared in home and served with all the love and care - They were ready to provide the hot beverages as per wish. They even helped us with the cab/van enquiries for next iteration from their place which means very helpful
