Gite Ifoulou Tassaout

This is a very basic accommodation, but if you have come to Morocco to see and learn something about the true life in the country and don't just want to see tourist sites, then this is perfect. Met very friendly spanish charity workers who explained a lot about the area, the country, politics and life here.

Die Lage in den Bergen ist wunderschön und die Unterkunft authentisch. Wir haben sehr leckeres, klassisch marokkanisches Essen bekommen und der Host war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Die Zimmer sind sehr einfach gehalten (für unsere Zwecke aber ausreichend), es hätte allerdings sauberer sein können.

Located in the beautiful Tassaout Valley, the Gite is off the beaten track in a place ripe for exploration! The owner is super nice and can organise both short hikes and long treks in the mountains with visits to the beautiful villages in the area. He also cooks the best food we had on our trip in Morocco. Fresh and delicious. The facilities are adequate, don't expect fancy but it is clean and comfortable. Our family loved it and would definitely want to go back for more hiking.

Felt home after stepping in, Mr. Mohamed Hnini and family are great host. I think was one of the best Tajine I had in morocco

Very lovely local stay, basic and beautiful. The view on the rock walls and sound of the river below makes it a peaceful place. The 2p room with own bathroom was clean and had a splendid view. The host family is very welcoming and gave us tips for hiking in the valley. We had a very good local dinner and breakfast.

Due to rural location and warm weather there were quite some flies in the main living room. Maybe use some natural deterrent like mint, fruittrap or transparant bag with water and coins

Best dinner and breakfast we have had for our whole trip in Morocco. Incredible location, view and nature. Clean rooms toilets showers. Hot water. Totally worth it!!
