Beautiful location in lovely gardens and great staff and cooking

Some areas need smartening up a bit

Gardens surrounding the Tosca garden room were great. The Tosca was very small and very hot. Was very relieved to have a door to garden and front door able to create a draughty through. Walls are extremely thin - when in bathroom could hear every single word of two women staying in next room. The breakfast granola, fresh fruit - absolutely divine. However the scrambled eggs on granary bread were so gloopy and runny and toast cold. My husband had the full breakfast minus eggs and black pudding which he enjoyed.

See above! The fact there was quite a long walk from car park to our room - luckily next morning for breakfast we found a quick cut through and would have appreciated this cut through very much. This is one of the main reasons for me with my bad arthritis being not that mobile and why I wasn’t able to walk far and was relieved to note the Tosca was on one level - after the two lots of stairs inside - but managed them ok!

Great location and a beautiful building. Very clean

Breakfast was disappointing. Our toast was burnt on one side.

The pod was small but perfectly formed. Beautifully secluded considering how close to the pub
