Ontbijt was simpel maar toereikend.

De waterkoker past onder geen enkele kraan. Was dus niet direct te vullen. Hiervoor kan je een limonadeglas gebruiken, past wel onder de waterkraan.

Eigen terrasje onder de bomen

We stayed in cabin 7. Both the beds and the shower were simply awesome. We slept like babies. We were hiking all day, these two things are by far the most important to have and the cabin definitely scored a 10 on those two points. Also, the staff was friendly and helpful. The location is very nice with a restaurant with a nice terrace next door.

Unfortunately there were also a few points that we found not very well thought through at all and actually pretty annoying. * There ate two teeny, tiny sinks with cold water only. It was hard to brush one’s teeth without splashing all over the floor. The taps are very low and the only way to re-fill our water bottles was to use cups. No sink in the kitchen. * The kitchen facilities are extremely limited. A little oven (just large enough for a 1/4 pizza at a time) a coffee maker that leaked (we wasted a few cups that cost us 1€ each), no towels to clean up the mess and most of all no sink. The teeny tiny ones in the shower and toilet weren’t useable and we didn’t have any cleaning supplies anyway. We weren’t sure what the “kitchen” was meant to be used for. It obviously wasn’t cooking even basic things. * We got a breakfast packet one day and found it extremely basic for the price. We were also supposed to prepare it in the “kitchen” (how??) * the lights were poorly thought through and basic. Very bright ceiling lights, no reading lights in the bed room. We found that rather uncomfortable. All in all a lot about the cabin just felt stingy and cheap. Why no decent lighting, why no sink in the kitchen, why nowhere but the floor to put stuff in the bathroom, why the small flimsy towels? It felt unfortunate and disappointing considering both the beds and the shower were awesome! Tip: replace the two unusable tiny sinks with just one with hot and cold water which can be used for both bath and kitchen needs. Add detergent and a dish towel. Put some love into the lighting situation. Get rid of all the plastic flowers instead.

Perfecte plek als je het Pieterpad loopt en een comfortabele hut!

Een theezakje of koffiecuope was fijn geweest maar gelukkig was het meisje van de herberg zo lief om er eentje mee te geven nadat we gegeten hadden!
