I prefer to stay at amami bcoz of the beach front but they don’t have aircon just only 1 electric fan per room and the room good for 3 to 4 pax each it’s so hot its ok if the electric fan is heavy duty or industrial but it’s not the location and the view are great but when it’s nighttime it’s so hard to sleep.

Electric fan they need to add and buy new electric fan for the guests so its convenient when it comes to the room and comfortable to sleep Much better to renovate the rooms and change all the furniture like chairs and tables and the floor also there are some broken already.

Nobody to talk to if you have issue.

We stayed in an A/C bungalow right by the beach. The beach is clean and nice with no bothering vendors (or just a few, more polite ones). So, the swimming was terrific! The Amami staff are very helpful and accommodating - I should also recommend the massage therapist Mrs. Heidi. Overall, I really liked the compound and especially the dining area. It's a good point for jungle trekking, too.

Sand everywhere and all the time - a broom and a cloth in every room would be helpful. The room, and especially the bathroom were very basic and it's about time for a face-lift. The restaurant is good, yet they don't always have everything that is featured on the menu.

The location was great, quiet, comfortable, and restful.

There was no staff left on New Year's Eve. Though we understand the situation, we were left with no staff to turn on the breaker (upon return from the blackout) until the morning. We spent the new year with no lights when all our neighbors already had lights on. Watta new year!! :)

You could not find more genuinely warm mannered staff. Takes your breath away. My room was massive and spotless. Breakfast omlet and banana pancakes were soooo good ! I extended !!

The beach frontage was lacking space.

the staff was super nice and helpful. the food was good.

the rooms were dirty. our room door was broken so we could not close our door properly. the hotel was very hard to find and in the restaurant not everything on the menu was available.
