Thinner bed quilt on hot night. A very very small complaint

The location for what we went for was perfect. The food in the restaurant was exceptional and the breakfast was first class. The rooms were very clean,the bed very comfortable and the bathroom spotless with a good shower. The bar was very friendly and the staff were always on the ball.

The accommodation was clean and well presented. The evening meals and breakfast were excellent and served in a very pleasant restaurant. The staff were friendly and attentive. We would stay again if in the area.

We had a wonderful stay at the Woodhouse Arms. We stayed for 2 nights in the Herdwick room - everything was clean, tidy, and the food for both tea and breakfast was delicious! Thank you so much.

Excellent meals...we have stayed here before on our way to our holiday cottage(s) and will definitely do so again

everything fab....even during a village power outage the staff made sure we would be fed if the power hadn't returned...it did after 30 mins so it was fine.
